This article covers a protest by the Native Alliance for Red Power (NARP) outside of a meeting of Residential School officials. It includes quotes from NARP member Ray Bobb and references the NARP newsletter. Interestingly, George Manuel, who was a community development worker at the time but later became the President of the National Indian Brotherhood and the World Council of Indigenous Peoples, attended the meeting and spoke highly of NARP’s protest.
